ARTICLE I: DEFINITIONS

Section 1. Association.
“Association” shall be the The Arbors Homeowners Association as created and operated by this declaration.

Section 2. Properties.
“Properties” shall be that certain real property described in Exhibit “A” and such other real property as hereafter may be brought within the jurisdiction of the Association.

Section 3. Common Properties.
“Common Properties” shall include the maintenance of the roadway system and such other common aspects of the property as may be brought within the jurisdiction of the Association.

Section 4. Lot.
“Lot” shall be any plot of land shown upon any recorded plat map of the Properties subject to this Declaration, with the exception of dedicated streets and roads.

Section 5. Member.
“Member” shall be every person or entity who is a Member of the Association as described in Article II.

Section 6. Owner.
“Owner” shall be the record owner, whether one or more persons or entities, of any Lot which is a part of the Properties, including buyers under a contract for deed, but excluding those having any such interest merely as security for the performance of an obligation.
Section 7. Declarant.
“Declarant” shall be The Arbors, Inc., it’s successors and assigns.
